MAKING THE BODY
5 Cut a 32-inch/80-cm length of wire. Follow the Body chart to bead through row 53. Weave, trim, and bend to finish both wires securely.
LACING THE BODY
6 Thread a 35-inch/90-cm length of wire through rows 26 and 28 of the body; these are the rows on each side of the center brown body row. Pull the wire through so that the body is centered on it.
7 Following the Lacing Beads chart, thread three brown beads for the first row. Pass both wires back into rows 26 and 28 of the main body. Pinch the three beads between your index finger and thumb and pull the wires tight with your other hand. The beads will slide up against the body strip.
